Default On the Farm

Another from the farm. My hubby walkin' around.

Zach at the Farm

As far as post production just a bump of the contrast and saturation (if I'm remembering correctly) and a slight blur (maybe? it's been a few weeks since I edited it!)

Hi littleone918:
I think there are lots of things in this picture. You have your husband, those machines and the construction or hangar, all of them claiming for my eye attention. Also the sky is blown up, but I think that is for the deep shadows you got there (I'm not an expert). Maybe focusing on one thing at a time, will improve your photo.
Thanks for sharing it!

Hi Kaye,

I agree with oriolhdz on overcast sky and adding a focal point.

But I feel a monochrome especially Sepia tone could create a different mood. IMO color doesnt adds too much to this shot and Sepia gives older look.

I downloaded your shot from flickr, played a bit in Picasa (though i am not pp expert) and here is the result. If you feel bad somebody doing edit on your work I will remove it immediatly.

Compltely agree about the overexposed sky... next, what exactly are you trying to convey with the image? i think palachandra's crop is good with or without the sepia tone... you could also have included a bit more of the machines in the frame
