Taken earlier this year I've just gone back to this picture and tried to improve it.
![]() I'm afraid the EXIF data is missing due to the way it was copied to my computer originally. I'm not sure about the crop. What do you think ?

i do like old architecture. in this picture the sky is washed out ,and for my taste the shadows are to much. if you still have the unedited file, it might make for a good hdr.
i like the comp.

wonderful subject matter....and i too have difficulty cropping when my verticals converge.....i think you made the right choice on the crop....
i do suggest you try bringing up the shadows.....keep the contrast, mind you....but, bring them up enough to retrieve some of their detail..... if you have a re-edit, i'd love to see it... peeper |

![]() This is the original before I played around with it in Gimp. As you can see it was pretty washed out which might explain why I overdid it with the contrast.

Love the shot, Jay - took the liberty of applying PP to the photo to bring back some sky, straighten out the vertical lines (oops, I think I overdid this a little!), and also darkened the foreground slightly. I hope the link here works, as it's my first posting to this forum.
PS - I only took this liberty of doing this because your original posting stated that it was OK to do so. The method I used was to create a selection of the sky, then used levels, hue and saturation adjustments to the sky. I used a seperate layer to burn the foreground in a little. Hope you like the results...
