Default underpass disco....

yeah, i know....i'm just like everyone else here that comes back from vacation.....i gotta show you what i got!.....

IMG_1914

this freeway underpass in san antonio was lit up like an 80's ball room with what i'm guessing to be strobing chromatic halogens.....the clarity isn't all that it could be as i refuse to travel with my tripod.....my long suffering husband acted as one while i leaned back into him to stabilize the shot.....

so, since this shot isn't to be repeated, any post production tips are appreciated...

Nice shot! peeperita:
I like the way you composed. Lights are pretty colorful and my eye leads the road smoothly. I really like the photo. My only suggestion maybe can be to crop a little the left side and fix the column lol. Also I wonder how the photo would look with more space at the right side, but as you said, "is not to be repeated", you can maybe play with it in photoshop too to clone it maybe a little. Anyway i like what you did!

Yeah, but your photo isn't a typical tourist shot!

I like it myself. I agree about the blemish on the nearest column. You could just crop it out right up to where the color changes to orange. That'd give more of a symmetry to the colors on the columns. But even with the blemish I like it.

What an amazing display of colors. I am glad that you had the opportunity to capture it. Perhaps it can be used as a background for a portrait with some low-key lighting. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Nice! The colors are amusing because...well, they're concrete pillars! The detail on the pillars and the bricks are preserved...nicely shot!
