Default My First 'People' Shot

Brooklyn Bridge

My nephew Chris at the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. I wasn't trying anything fancy. EQUIP: Nikon D40 - Tamron f/2.8 17-50mm - Tiffen UV Haze 1 filter

I really like the colors, but I wood crop out the person at the bottom of the steps. Nice shot.

I also love the colors and it looks really sharp. Great job! I would have taken another because of the other person in the shot or moved more up the stairs to get that street out the shot. It's colors to me just doesn't fit and takes away from the rest of a great picture.

I like the idea of the street down there but would clone out the person.
I think if it had been just a brick wall you really wouldn't get a feel of location.

I would try cropping in tighter on the left, and agree with cropping out the person on the right. Love the tones though

I agree on cloning the person out. This is a great shot otherwise. Colours are nice and rich. I like the bannister/railing.

I agree with cloning out or cropping out the man at the bottom of the stairs. It is a great shot of your nephew! Good Job!

Ditto on getting rid of that other person. I really like the colors, and the angles formed by the railing of the stairway.
