i do like this picture. have you done somthing to the whites? that seat and mud guard seem very bright as tho its been rubbed out.

I agree a bit unnatural looking but i like the photo. A few distracting aspects but still a good shot! great subject. do you have a shot of the original?

after seing the original i see why you tried B&W. Its amazing just how bright that seat and fender are. I think in the b&w i would try selcting the seat and fender and bring the saturation down just a bit to match the rest of the photo.
I like the B&W better...seems more like an old photo rather than just a old tricycle.

Default limited editing

Well I used iPhoto 08 to edit the photo so I couldn't lower the saturation levels on only the seat and the mudguard. I'm thinking of trying Pixelmator but until I do I'll do the best I can with iPhoto. Plus, I'm a complete novice at post production so I have a learning curve to get past. And thanks again for your feedback.
