Default Single White Flower

Hello, this is my first post so I apologize for any mistakes i may make in posting. I have been a serious amateur PS Photographer for about 4 years. I've just started to venture beyond the auto mode on my camera. So any feed back will be appreciated. Thank You

I like the shadow that falls across the flower - it adds a bit of something extra. I think this shot would benefit from a larger aperture to blur the background. I would also like to see the flower not centered in the frame and possibly a little closer up (or cropped) to fill more of the frame. Was the vignetting added in PP, or was that out of the camera? I think that could go and the shot would be stronger.

Jeremy Wadian, Welcome

This is how a shot looks made with a magnifying lens in front. If you added the vignette in an edit, though, you can blur that layer so it becomes blended and less distracting. Shooting from slightly above this bloom would give it a green leafy background, and better contrast for the bloom. Good shot.
