Backlit enhanced the hairs on this cucumber plant.

I used below setting:

Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture: f/3.5
Focal Length: 13.1 mm
ISO Speed: 80

AMBITION

Any suggetion would be greatly appreciated.

Nice detail on the plant. Here is a case where use of a card in the background would provide a more uniform and less distracting backdrop. I realize it is not always possible to carry large cardstock with you so possibly changing the camera angle slightly would have helped. Good eye!

I love the details (and the title)! Like Clockdoc said, the background is a bit distracting. Maybe if you had turned a bit to the left towards whatever that white part was? Of coruse that might have taken away the angle you were looking for on the plant.

That strand of web doesn't feel like it belongs either. Have you tried it with jsut a touch more color?

Better and better, your choices, framing and results. This plant has character; you found that. How does a setting sun look on it? Golden edges?
