Well first off cutting the back quarter panel off is the biggest problem i see. lso its got a spot from the shine of the body that really is distracting. Great car....is it a true judge? I cant tell.....would have to guess no but need to see more. I think its a bit overexposed for the most part too...but that may be my screen.
Great choice of subjects!

Well..honestly, its a good shot cause theres an excellent hot rod there..but replacing it with an ordinary car, you think its still a good picture? That's how I challenge myself sometimes..making an ordinary or simple subject look good in a picture. Also, there are distractions from your subject(background, too many details).

Thats only what I think...

Hi and welcome to the group I looked at your EXIF data on flickr (1/160 second, f/6.3, ISO 100 and am trying to figure out why the camera meter (aperture priority) gave it those exposure values. Did you adjust levels on Photoshop Elements to give it a 'hotter' look? I agree with pinball's comments. If you like to shoot cars, you may want to invest in a polarizing filter and be aware of how the sun is lighting the car (angle of the sun). I'll be happy to help where I can.

aside from the background clutter, boring angle, and complete cut off of the rear of the car, the picture is way too overexposed. you should have tried a wider apterture to eliminate more of the background, a faster shutter speed, a circular polarizer to cut down on glare, and probably a different vantage point. as it is right now you have another car creeping into the right of the frame, there are feet under the front bumper, and just 'stuff' all over.

this shot looks like you were simply walking by and pressed the shutter without thinking of composition or your camera's settings.

I agree with a lot of what's been said here already. This picture says more, Care Event, than car to me. You've cut off half the car and included way too much other stuff. My eye is drawn down the car and to the tent. It is also overexposed.

I actually don't mind the angle, if you had included the back end of the car...they're a sweet vehicle.

It's hard to get good pictures of a car at a car show. There is too much chaos and confusion. Often times you dont have ample room to work around the car to get a good vantage point.

Not a bad point and shoot for a car show.
