Exclamation The Bench

The Bench

Hi, Guys!

Here is a shot i took today. I love it very much and it's going to be in my black and white portfolio. I just want other people than my wife and me to have a look and give me their Pros and Cons.

Thx in advance.

This picture is really good. Your subject is very clear: the bench. The simplicity of this picture is what makes it really good, it includes only those elements that draw the eye to the subject.

You want pros and cons? I can find no cons! This is a great shot especially B&W.
I think the angle is perfect and the title even is perfect! Seems to me you know what you're doing! LOL! I like it alot.....great shot.

Very excellent work! I was particularly impressed with how you held such depth of field at f/2.8 even at a focal length of only 8mm. What lens was used in this shot?

This is just my P&S - Finepix F40FD - in manual mode with some overriding.

Excellent photograph technically.

If you want some cons - well I'm just not sure that a bench is a particularly exciting subject matter - I mean you wouldn't want to hang it on your wall.

It is a very good photograph though!

I'd hang it on my wall. The contrast and DOF are amazing, not to mention the detail and compisition in the wood of the bench. Very Nice.
