Default Tunnel Vision

Tunnel Vision

I took this shot earlier this week walking around my university looking for some good shots for a photo competition. I added a focal blur in Picasa towards the round glass door at the end of the tunnel. I put this up on flickr yesterday and it reached #12 in flickr explore for yesterday. This shocked me as I don't particularily see how this photo got so popular (not compared to others on my flickr but compared to other photos on flickr explore which I would consider much better).

Let me know your comments and critique on this photo

It's an excellent photo. It's great that the door is just a little off center instead of dead center.

I don't really have any suggestions although I do wonder how it looked before you added the blur. I think it would still have been great.

I think it is striking.. the only thing that bothers me is the trees or what ever it is that you can see thru the roof in the middle / upper right.

Just about to say the exact same thing maggie. I would try cloning them out and then you got one hell of an abstract and great example of converging lines....
