Somersby Falls - Australia

hi everyone,

Here's a pic from this weekend. what do you guys think? I feel the light in the top right hand corner of the image adds to it. do you guys agree?

Beautiful use of slow shutter speed on the water, and I love the hint of sunlight in the top right corner. At full size, you can notice a bit of shaking of the leaves and branches of the tree. I'm guessing maybe a bit of ill timed breeze since the rocks are all still very sharp. Very nice shot!

It may be a good idea to post the "medium" size image from flickr so people can see the shot better without having to follow a link.

This should make up for any of the past few months' weather/light related shots that left you less-than-joyous over results. Some of those may be soon forgotten; this one has Australia backing it, is memorable for subject and quality of your work, and will inspire me this Winter to do better. Hope you enjoyed taking it.

Agreed, the source of light and water feeding in the same direction is wonderful. Pool of water and light, serendipity.

Great shot. I particularly like the way the light plays around the bottom of the photo.

It's like the light is bing drawn down to the pool by the water fall. Nice job!
