Old redwood shack surrounded by its living brethren. Shot in b/w, focal-9mm, F/3.2, Exp. 1/30 sec.,ISO-200, meter-pattern, no flash, exp.comp.-0.7 step. Post processing thru PS-E With only a touch of sepia.

I'd maybe give it a run with a touch more contrast and a slight crop to get rid of the alien (bottom left) ...but then, everything that I post these days is contrast city - maybe it's just a phase... nice shack, looks cool.. not sure i'd have the guts to sleep there overnight, mind..

Personally i love it ...no way would i be hanging around it after dark, but at the moment im into old barns and places like this so i find it very fascinating. good job and i hope to see more.

I like it! I think a portrait shot of it a bit lower looking up to it would be a nice shot. Is it a place you can reshoot? I really like to see another at a low upward angle showing some trees above. Seems it needs a bit of atmosphere around it to give a bit of difinition where it is and the area around the shack. not sure if I'm getting my point across....I really do like the shot but see other shots when looking at it.
