*My first on the critique*
A 10 foot redwood down and cracked with some natural light peeking in w/no flash.

I think its a nice abstract. Would like to see the original? Did you shoot it B&W?
Is it a rock formation or wood? The line of horizontal edges running from corner to cross corner is nice. I think a bit more post processing to add contrast and shadows and highlights would hlep a bit. Looks a bit flat to me. I think all in all it is a nice image and would be nice with a white mat and black simple frame.

Edit Just seen its a redwood! I think it works in b&w but the color version would be nice to see.

Thank you for the input xxpinball I appreciate this. No post processing and it was shot in monochrome. I do agree w/ you on bringing out the nuances of lighting. I was really trying to capture that at the time of the shootI'm really not sure if I achieved it .I may try Processing it Thanks!
