Default Reflected Future Past

I work in one of a set of twin office towers that are seperated by a parking garage. Behind the buildings is a large, old cemetary that pre-dates the American Revolutionary War (i.e. pre-1770s). A couple weeks ago I went out to the top deck of the parking garage after work to take some photographs. I thought the long shadows cast by the setting sun and the elevated position would give some interesting photographic opportunities. One thing that I noticed was a wonderful reflection of an area of the cemetary in the windows of the other office building. This is the shot I took of it:

I plan to go down to the cemetary itself one day soon as it has some wonderful, old monuments and statuary.

Thanks,

Hi Craig,
Very interesting shot! I like the perspective and angle. Shooting reflections is not always easy as you are working for sharpness for two distances---the first is the mirrored glass window frames and the reflection from the subject. You held sharpness throughout quite nicely. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thank you, Lee.

I wasn't really looking for this particular kind of shot at the time. It was one of those things I just "saw" suddenly and snapped the shutter. That has actually happened a couple of times to me now. I would go someplace to photograph something with certain images in mind, then something else completely unexpected comes up and I take a snapshot or two of it. Then those snapshots end up being the best photographs from that particular outing.

Nice shot, also good as mentioned before how you kept the sharpness. Lovely reflection overall.

Thanks.

As far as focusing it went, I just selected a focus point on one of the windows with an apperture sufficient to keep the windowsills in focus as well. I didn't realize it was supposed to be hard.
