I love the textured feel to this picture. My only comment is I wish the knob wasn't as white as it is.

That's actually how white the knob is as well. Crazy irvory, or something, I duno.

did you try a portrait shot of this also, a bit more door would have lessened the impact of the starkness of the white knob. the textures are great.

Hey, thanks all!

And I don't know if it's photo-plagarism or not, but my Dad took almost the same photo, same door, same knob, etc...in the late 80's. I was walking about with my camera in hand, and spotted the door. *snap* Except the thing is, his was 10 times better. Should have been, he won some big assed photo contest with that picture. I showed him the one I took *above* and he just smiled and said...'uh huh, I see...'

It was pretty funny.
