It seems you need the tripod here due it is blurry. Also, i think you should try another subject, this one doesn't help, there is nothing attractive here.

Good call... There isn't much interest... it's a man-made stream, not sure where it comes from or where it goes...
When I left the house I hadn't intended on going there, but I saw an opportunity to hop a fence and go, so I did. Where I was standing, well, sitting really, there isn't much room, so I just got as low as I could. I wonder if one of those mini tripods would work there... Thanks for your input. I'll post a slightly more interesting pic from down there, and I think in about 2-3 weeks when the trees change it will be really nice..

What if you tried the waterfall from a viewpoint downstream looking at the waterfall? I"d have the camera just above the level of the top of the fall.
I know that means you have to be int he water, but hey - who wouldn't go to some lengths to get a different shot! You could try introducing a subject into the picture in addition to the fall. Perhaps a striking autumn leaf, or a paper boat, or even a straw hat!
