Welcome to the forum.

Nice shot, I like the comosition, subject, context and the colors. You have done a good job shooting at his eye level and sharp focus on his eye.

My only suggetion would be to crop out the unfocused foliage (?) at the bottom.

Hi and welcome to the group. Nice capture! I usually suggest that images such as this be flipped horizontally so as to keep one's eye within the frame a bit longer. However in this case I found myself focusing on the eye for longer than usual. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Wow! Welcome to DPS!

The lighting is superb on the subject, as is the color. Nice sharpness too. I agree with Palachandra that cropping out the unfocused stems at the bottom of the frame would be best so as not to distract from the focal point of the image...although it's hard for the viewer's eye to get drawn away from the subject's red eye for too long! Very captivating wildlife shot, thanks for sharing!
