its different, like some ideas of what i could do to improve, had thought of cropping the top off , any thoughts

Yeh i like the idea, the photo is nice. i think it is unbalanced though. try cropping the top little bit by little bit, until u find the perfectly balanced ratio.

Yes I like the idea too, it does feel unbalanced a bit but I guess that can be fixed with a little cropping, what I feel you can improve on is more contrast in the picture, and you know what else? I think a better title for the picture is "My Angel", hehe

Your shot has a nice composition. The lines in the background with the girl at a 90 degree angle make a nice diagonal triangle, which makes a strong shot. Her bent arm also forms a triangle emphasizing the strong diagonal lines. I would probably trim a little off the top.

Is there more elbow on your original? Even a half-inch would help if you do take a crop on top.

Very grey, I would take the channel mixer in photoshop and tick the "monochrome option" then use different settings on the sliders, experiment and it should provide a more striking shot
