Nice drip shot. I've tried a few, and they really are harder than they look, aren't they! I think I had 2 keepers out of about 200 (probably because of my setup). I like the blue background. If anything I might crop it a little so that there is more focus on the drip, but otherwise it's good.

I agree, it is very hard. I've tried numerous times and like doc said, saved one or two out of hundreds.
I too think I'd crop it closer to where the drops are. Try and bring the focal point closer to them and leave out the empty space. Nice job

Good job on a tough subject.
I'd recommend you get more of a side-view angle so you can see the height of the splash a bit more. This will help focusing because the water will be falling in-line with the focus plane rather than through it. Does that make sense? If not, I'll try explaining further. |
