Original:
![]() Post-processed: ![]() I took once my kid to a zoo and i happened to see this bird on the zoo's gate. I could not resist framing it. Now i want this shot in my animal portfolio; so, i did some simple retouching in Windows Photo Gallery. Please tell me how (and what) do you like or dislike and what i need to do to improve the over all aspect of the composition. Thanks!!!

I like the second one but think the background is a bit lopsided. I am drawn to the side where the branches are.

Thks for your appreciations. They are very encouraging.
On the following picture, i tried to follow the suggestions. Now, Dear peeperita; do you still see the halo? ![]() Hi, windrider86! I have another shot of Mr. Heron; but i personnally don't like it. Every time i look at it, my eyes go funny. (from the background). See by yourself. ![]() See? I told you.
