I took once my kid to a zoo and i happened to see this bird on the zoo's gate. I could not resist framing it. Now i want this shot in my animal portfolio; so, i did some simple retouching in Windows Photo Gallery.
Please tell me how (and what) do you like or dislike and what i need to do to improve the over all aspect of the composition.

drax....this is a nice solid shot.....i'd be happy to include it in my portfolio too.....my only criticism is that you might have gone a little overboard on the sharpening....there's quite the halo around your bird.....everything else looks good....

if you have a repost, i'd love to see it.....
