I prefer the one where its all mono, also have you used a sketch effect or boosted the brightnesss on it or something?

definitely the all-mono one, and not because i'm on a BW kick lately. I think that whatever you did to turn the image into a 'drawing' looks very good in black and white.

However, that ball is a rather odd dark red, and in the red ball version, the amount of black mixed in looks very unnatural to me. I would expect a bright red ball, not a rich and shadowy red one.

Otherwise, I think this is a fantastic pic!

I like the all b&w because for me the subject is the puppies' face and the red draws my eye away from that.
