Good eye for an interesting contrast of old and new. Looks like it may have been shot on an overcast day so the tones of the old building don't "pop" and give as good a separation as they may in stronger lighting. But I still like the concept very much. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I like the combination of old and new. It's interesting to look at this building and wonder exactly what happened to make the corner/roof blow off. Do you happen to know?

They're tearing it down as they do with most of the older buildings in these parts (Alberta). I'm not sure why, but we just don't keep older buildings around...probably going to be replaced by some unsightly condo.

i like all the lines in the picture. i might suggest cropping the right side of the shot to eliminate that one edge of a building that crept in. perhaps also a boost in contrast/saturation.

I like the contrast with the old & the new, but my eyes keep wandering to the stone bunny that looks like it's getting ready to jump (okay, I know it's not really a stone bunny, but the way it's just sitting there, wires coming out of the top, and I have an active imagination).
