I definitely like the first pic better... the bluish trees on the second one seem a little odd to me.

The only thing I would do to the top pic right away is level the horizon.

The pictures look good, but you might want to change the size. The mods generally like pictures to be a max of 800 pix on the long side, so the CSS formatting of the page doesn't go all wonky. I usually do it so that the image that displays is smaller and clickable if you want to see the full size.
