Default Angry

Today I visited Givskud zoo (Denmark) where I saw some nice parrots. I tried to get some good pictures of them. This one I especially like - because of the ex-pression - it looks angry.

What do you think?
- is the parrot angry - and why?
- what about the composition?

I used an aperture of f/3.5 - mainly because of the wires of the cage. The ISO setting was 100 and an exposure bias of -2/3EV. The shutter speed was 1/500s.

Angry Parrot

Love the 'eye' he is giving you. It speaks volumes. Very nice work!

That tree was also annoying me - when shooting the bird. So the best I could think about was to use it as some sort of frame.

Maybe he's angry about the piece of tree bark stuck in his teeth . Nice shot - I love the colors of the parrot and the focus of the eyes. Sounds like you did a really good job considering what you had to work with.
