Default Autumn Walk

I'm sure we'll see alot of these in the coming weeks.

Path through Autumn woods

Lake in Autumn

Both taken this afternoon using a panasonic DMC - TZ2.

I've done a little work in Picassa - specifically warming up the colours and increasing the saturation - but have I gone too far?

Also I'm not very good at thinking up titles - any ideas?

thanks

Both are nicely composed but appear just a tad hot on my monitor. Were you trying to open up the shadow areas with Picasa? You have a good eye. I look forward to you Fall senics.

Default lake shot

You should try shooting this type of shot when its not too bright outside and I think you would see a more balanced exposure.

The composition is great.

I like the composition of both of these shots. Both locations look very inviting.

First shot - I love the trail leading off into the unknown. It makes me want to be there walking to see where it goes. The focus is good, but the sun is a bit much. I think this is a great place to go back (if you can) and shoot on an overcast day or in more fading light when a few more leaves have changed.

Second shot - It's quite inviting to look across the clearing through a coupld of trees and see a tranquil lake. The yellow color cast detracts from the autumn feel, however. I think with a few more leaves changed and maybe a bump in saturation or vibrance would help here. Beautiful locations - I'd love to see more shots from here!
