King William St Bridge at Night

Taken with a Canon EOS 400D, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM

Post Processing:
- Raw into Aperture
- Opened into Photoshop
- Slight rotation
- Curves to increase contrast/depth
- Increase saturation slightly
- USM
- Jpg to flickr

Nice shot, the exposure seems just fine for me.

The relfection in the water bit distracts the attention. IMO, less water could have improved this.

Shame the light is out on top of the second post from the right thou.

Timing is the key here. If the shot had been made when there was still some illumination left in the sky it may have resulted in a better overall image (assuming the background wasn't a clutter of distracting buildings.) This may have been a candidate for High Dynamic Range treatment because of the high level contrasts. Nice shot, though. I am glad you took the time to set up your camera on a tripod and shoot it.

Yea that could have been nice, it wasnt really a planned - just decided i wanted to go take some pics!
