Default ring, slightly used

took this for a friend selling her ring and just can't seem to get the pink reflections out. (her entire place is pink...a little hard on the eyes) any tips for the future to cut down on unwanted reflections, and anything else in general?

new ring

Put a big peice of white card off to the side wherever the reflections are and bounce your flash off that. That way you'll be seeing the reflection of a nicely lit white card.

If you have something like Photoshop/Lightroom/Elements you can try adjusting the saturation or hue for the different color channels to correct something like that.

Yes, white card to the side of your subject should work fine...
Curious what the ring is resting on?
Is it just a mirror?
