Hi energy:
Well i think you have two things going on in this photo. The boat and the background, both are claiming my eye attention hehehe. Also the line in the boat leads my eye to the background but then it gets confused because of the blurred background (I need to explain my self better lol). I'll maybe blur the background or change it so it so it does not compete with your main subject which is the boat.

The Swallow tail roof is what is in focus...Its not a boat..i was above a temple, the pagoda is in the background.
Hmm I agree the colors are rather dark and do not pop. Ok I will work on it. But my issue was does the pagoda take up way too much of the picture?

Hi. When I view the image, I appreciate the lead-in from the left. However, I find myself loking at the pagoda more than the roof feature. Perhaps it is because of the business of the roofline that my eye can't settle on any one part. One other thought is that both masses, the roofline and pagoda end at about the same height leaving the top portion of the frame without much interest. If you can reshoot and try to reposition the roofline so that it doesn't end even with the top of the pagoda, you may have a stronger image.
