Default Critique My Shot

I did play around with this shot to get rid of some background & was wondering what you think . I am also adding the orginal , feed back please .

I no expert, but i actually perfer the original version, it seems more natural to me, but as i said i'm no expert so probably talking rubbish.

Thanks , I was not happy with it , I wonder if upping the contrast helps , I want to get rid of the lights in the back ground .I do like the color in the orginal best

I would suggest going back to the original and limiting yourself to just cloning out the lights; I think the colour (less green) and cropping (more space) are preferable in the original.

What program do you use for editing? In many you can edit but easily roll back if you decide you have gone too far.

Thanks , I use photo studio 5.5 and yes i went too far and did not save it in layers like i should have .so trying to grasp at fixing what I did .I do still have the orginal on my camera but it means starting from sctatch . I was hoping for an easy fix , and i guess there isn't one ,thanks for your suggestion ,i will srart over .and save my layers .
