Default Another bug

This big guy decided to make my porch his home today. He was basking in the sun then decided as I was getting him focused he wanted shade. I can't figure out how to make the shaded area brighter without it looking fake. I will work on it some more later. but here he is bug32

Hi Val1064:
Those insects lol don't have respect for private houses hehehe.
IMHO photo can be improved by some things. One can be another crop, maybe a little bit more tightly. Another thing I noticed is that focus is at the wings and not the face of the insect/bug... Maybe using another aperture (Big number) could get you more DOF. I don't know this very well but I guess the photo is a little bit overexposed, but that can be modified with Photoshop lol.
