This is a really pretty flower that looks to be exposed well. Composition wise, I would recommend cropping down to just the main flower. The bud and dead looking twig are distractions to my eye. I would also suggest maybe a deeper depth of field and/or possibly a different shooting angle so the center of the flower is more visible.

Again, this is a beautiful flower. Do you know what type it is?

I dont know what it is. My friend dumped a package of wild seeds in his yard,
this is one that sprouted.
I found this flower very hard to capture a shot of for some reason.
It is also a small flower and used a +10 lens.

I like the second shot much better! Such an interesting looking flower. The petals look almost like they're made of wax.

2nd shoot is much better in terms of compostion and exposure, but, it looks floating, you need to bring in some blurred stem/ bud/ leaf.. something. (I got this tip from Jiminy and it works)
