![]() First off, I just want to know if the photograph looks edited. It had a really overexposed sky that lost all color right by the building so I put a gradient layer underneath it and just erased the entire sky. The colors came from the original photograph. If you have other comments feel free to leave those as well, but what I really want to know is if you would think it was edited.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping for. I have way too many photographs where everything came out except a white sky.

But I agree, it really doesn't look edited.

I'm working on that one. The only problem is that stuff requires money and that's something I don't have much of.

You could use a pair of polarized sunglasses over your Coolpix
Probably too small for the Rebel

at first glance i would have said that it did.....the resizing from flickr introduced some haloing between the object and the sky.....but, when i went to the original there in flickr i saw that the haloing was part of the resizing effort....otherwise....perfect for what you're asking.....

Your photo did not look edided to me . and have you ever gone to a camera shop and ask if they have second hand lenses ? that is how I got my polarizers, I got 2 at $5.00 each ,made them afforadable for me and they are great . I think only good camera shops would take tradein s so you may be lucky and find some at those shops . I only found out that they had second hand lenses because they did not have the size I needed in stock ,but i will be asking from now on ,it can save you a bundle .

Thanks. I wouldn't have thought about that. I know there's a place up in Charlotte that also has student discounts on used stuff. Even better for me.
