The DOF is too shallow. A smaller aperture would produce a better effect. f/16 maybe rather than f/4.

I think it would have looked a lot better with the entire chain in focus rather than just the parts that you captured that way. And I'm not a fan of the white in the holes of the middle link.

Over all though I like it.

I love this sort of picture. Elegant in its simplicity.

It would be nice if all the links were in focus. As baseballboy828 said, a deeper DOF might have been better. But it's a great picture...would make a great wallpaper on the computer, no?
