Clicking pictures in the rain is always difficult...what tricks could I use so that I get a picture?

Another aspect of your shot that could give it weight is to sit the building on the ground. Without enough foreground or area under the structure, it looks disconnected, not stable. By backing up a few steps, you could also have those terrific hills wulf pointed out, more in the shot.

Which place is this Akash? I can close my eye and visualize what JS and Wulf said, there are so many ancient ruins in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra with such backdrops.
