Default The Jefferson Street Bridge Walkway

This is a picture of the walkway underneath a bridge in town. I thought the combination of perspective, design, and wear was compelling. I wanted to capture the light to dark contrast in the scene, the age of the bridge, and the perspective of each segment as it moves away from the viewer.

Oddly enough, as much as I like this pic, there are others I enjoy more, but this seems to be the favorite of most people who go through my shots. Thoughts anyone?

Lovely Shot!

Just a little thing I would do differently...as you said you wanted to caputre "I wanted to capture the light to dark contrast in the scene"...that kinda breaks on the right where you see the light under the arch...if you could place your a camera a little lower and make the arch get blocked the passage on the right...

Good eye! I see several variations of more tightly cropped images within your main piece. Try eliminating some of the brighter areas through tighter cropping and see how it changes the image while retaining your original vision of design and pattern. Nice work.
