This struggle is seen in many places, not confined to India. It is very sad but unfortunately, until things change, is a fact of life. Great picture that tells a real story. Ian

I'm seriously impressed. This is one of the best "grab ya & leave a lasting impression" pictures that I've seen recently. As far as I'm concerned tweaking would add nothing to the power of the image...but then I'm pretty much a staight out of the camera kinda guy.

Wow Kunal, your pictures are some of my favorites on this site. They are beautiful and full of emotion.

Did she notice you taking her picture? It doesn't look like it. How did you manage to get such a direct shot and still stay unobtrusive?

Thank you so much for your kind words annie.

I used a super zoom lens which allowed me to capture her without her being weary but i think she noticed me after the shot.

Red face women labour

it is man's labour or woman's labour, it shd not be looked down upon. after all everybody has the right to earn their living. in india the condition may be different. in other countries, it may be same for women to do hard labour. regarding the photohraph, it is wonderful shot beyond doubt, it is an exhibition picture and i loved the crispness of shot-thanks to photographer.

Kunal,

This is a great image! It will move anyone who sees it, exhibition material. She grabs the viewers attention straight away, I had to make a real effort to look at the rest of the photograph.

Well done!
