Yeah, it's quite nice. A tighter crop on the mushroom might look nicer, though.

I do agree a tighter crop may make it stand out even more but the water in the mushroom is very effective, at first glance to me it almost looked liked molten metal a very interesting effect great shot

This is a good shot, I quite like it. I agree with the comments about a tighter crop... really focusing on the mushroom cap would really highlight the water and I think that is the most interesting subject in the image. Anyway just my opinion.

Oh and I was wondering did you do and Post Production on the image?

nice shot, as others suggested a tighter crop works well.

Thank you all for the replies! I tend not to heavily work on the photo in post production. I just might make shadows more dark, or the photo more saturated. Anyway, I'm not that good on post production. Picasa helps me here.

Again, thanks for the replies!

...But I could crop it...

I like your photo , I like the color & your capture of reflection in the water ,and cropping closer may bring that out , it is IMO a good shot as is ,your comp is centered but it still works for me ,good job . . I love to play with these type of photos ,and I am not trying to made it any better than you had it ,this is a sort of abstract that leaves the mushroon in focus , hope you don't mind, I love abstracts and could not resist .
