Default Munch

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions.

Occasionally Photography introduces you to new people, acting as an ice breaker... tonight it introduced us to Munch.

Everywhere we went, she followed close behind.

Apparently the yummiest grass was always right at our feet.

Default Nice photo!

Hi Pernod:
I liked the photo. Warm colors are always a pleasure to see and also I think is a great composition. My only thoughts are that that picture can be split in two different pictures; one with the horse, and another one of the sunset.
Anyway, great picture, and thanks for sharing it!

Hi Pernod, Munch is so adorable, did you give him a Polo and a friendly scratch in his chin?

The shot is a semi silhoutte, I think if the sun went behind the pony's back, the flare would have vanished and you would then have had more options to either expose the pony with the redish back light or make a perfect black silhoutte.

This is a nice shot. I like the golden tones from the sunset and it looks like the sun is going for a ride on Munch's back .

I really like this shot. The composition is great and the colors are so warm! I like how the sun is just cresting over his back - makes for a great silhouette. I'd be curious to know what the shot would look like if Munch was lit up, but I really like the "feel" of it this way.
