I love it just the way it is.
I showed it to my daughter and told her I love peepers. She said, "it's not a peeper though." She says peepers are dark with an X on their back. She learned this when she went to an environmental science school for 6th grade. I think you have some sort of a tree frog there. Cute! Oh and there is a tutorial here for High Dynamic Range editing. It is in the blog. You can probably find it by searching for it. pkd14u |

Lovely! It's just so a nice shot. Can i make it my wallpaper on my PC?
I think you can try the HDR. But it's better if you have the SAME shot with three different exposures. I am curious to see what with come out of you HDR Experiences. Viel Spaß!!! P.S.: Here is a link to HDR software. May be you will want to give it a try. That's what i'm using myself. http://www.hdrsoft.com/download.html |

I love it!!! So cute how his little eyes are half closed
I haven't tried anything with HDR yet, so I have no advice there, but this is a gorgeous shot!

Very nice work here. I agree with baseball in that this shot really would not be improved by applying the HDR technique. HDR works best when you are trying to squeeze every last bit of toal range (that is extreme shadow and highlight detail) our of a scene. Hence the dramatic exposure brackets. Granted you may end up with some unusual colorization in the end but I think what you have presented here is "blue ribbon" quality as it is.

thank you all for the encouraging words and the link to a tutorial....
i mispoke when i used the word "virtually"...they are the same shot from the same position.....all bracketed.....i have really been wanting to try my hand at HDR....the whole idea of tweaking a shot where everything is exposed intrigues me......i looked and saw that my cs2 has hdr capabilities....and even started the stack with the merge to hdr, but, i am lost as to what first steps to take.....do you work on them the same way that you do a traditional edit?.... peeper |
