For me, there is no clear subject to draw my attention. From this distance, I find the heavy clouds overhead more interesting. Maybe shot in portrait and zoom on the tower towards the town center, you could maintain some foreground and still capture some cloud as well. As it is, it seems like there is too much sky. The town is beautiful, though.

It's a beautiful place no doubt! I wish I had such scenery to take pictures of...althouhg living an hour from Banff I should get out more...
![]() While I agree that there is no strong focal point, it is a great photo nonetheless...to me at least. You get that the town is on a hill and you get the angry sky. you also get the idea of what sort of architecture dominates the town. Maybe if you cropped just a tad off the left it would bring a bit more focus to the part of the town right on that hilltop? A great picture...thanks!
