Default San Lupo, a town in Italy

Hello,
this is my first post on the Digital Photography School forum. This is the town of San Lupo, in Italy. I took this shot last year, but I would like to know what you think about it.

Ciao and thanks!

For me, there is no clear subject to draw my attention. From this distance, I find the heavy clouds overhead more interesting. Maybe shot in portrait and zoom on the tower towards the town center, you could maintain some foreground and still capture some cloud as well. As it is, it seems like there is too much sky. The town is beautiful, though.

Hi and welcome to the group. You are fortunate to have such magnificent scenery available to photograph. While the clouds are striking, with their current mass, they tend to compete a bit too much with the architecture. Perhaps by cropping some off the top as well as the foreground (just a little here), I think you would have a stronger panoramic view. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

It's a beautiful place no doubt! I wish I had such scenery to take pictures of...althouhg living an hour from Banff I should get out more...

While I agree that there is no strong focal point, it is a great photo nonetheless...to me at least.

You get that the town is on a hill and you get the angry sky. you also get the idea of what sort of architecture dominates the town. Maybe if you cropped just a tad off the left it would bring a bit more focus to the part of the town right on that hilltop?

A great picture...thanks!

i think the town is exposed beautifully...those clouds, though......are as angry as they get....i agree that a little cropping is in order....
