![]() I like this shot from yesterday's balloon launch, but am curious to hear other takes on it. I'm about to look for a cloning tutorial though because I do not like the ropes and flags hanging off the far balloon. Thank you for looking ![]() **** I posted an updated attempt below...

I like the colors and I like the composition/framing ?....critics with more experience probably could find room for improvement. I am waiting for those as I want to learn with you. I don't mind the rope, but the flag needs to go (easy cloning).

Nice shot! I don't mind the sky in the top right - I think I prefer it there. I like the composition of this shot. I agree that the front balloon needs to be a bit brighter and that the flag should be cloned out.
Great catch Were you on a balloon at the time? How exciting!

![]() I took the liberty to retouch the colors, making the sky a bit "bluer", removing the flag and the ropes from the far balloon, playing also a little with the contrast, and color temperature, sharpness and brilliance. And i hope i didn't make it worse than before. Am just starting in DSLR photography as hobby.

Nice edit!
The added light to the front balloon even brought out the texture of the fabric. (Are balloons made of fabric? I have no idea!!!) I like!!

Drax - thanks for the edit. The saturation looks very strong. I wonder if it's my monitor? You gave me the motivation to try it myself though which is always positive!
Here is what I came up with. I didn't like any of those ropes so I cloned them all out (so proud of myself - first cloning job EVER). I boosted the saturation a touch and lightened it a bit. Couldn't figure out how to only lighten the front balloon. Anyone able to tell me?
