I think the photo is wonderful! I happen to like that certain pieces of fur around the paws are blurred while others are in focus. I'd be very proud of this photo! Kevin

KagoGrl - I always like your unique perspective in shots. Never boring! The first shot here is very good, the edit is even better (I couldn't place what was a little off in the first one, but Peeper nailed it -- the slight angle to the field.)
This technique may be old news to you, but I've been using a high pass filter a lot recently when I want to add a little sharpening without introducing much noise. It's painless and quick. See the brief tutorial HERE. I personally like the focus of your current shot and wouldn't change it. I only mention it because you sound worried about the focus in your initial post. Thanks for sharing!
