Fruit

I was doing the fruit & veggie assignment and took the stuff outside do play. I am posting a few of my experiments for critique

In my opinion I think it would look better of it were just the apple and grapes. Maybe because the banana is out of focus?

Excellent sharpness on the apple! I tend to agree with windrider in that the banana commands a bit too much attention due to its bright color value and its softness compared to the apple. In reviewing your EXIF data it shows that the photo time was close to midnight. Is your camera clock off by 12 hours perhaps? 8-) If you did shoot this close to noon, you may also want to try shooting the same scene in the early morning and late afternoon to see what a difference the color and quality of light makes. You have a good eye! Keep shooting and posting.

Thanks for the input all, It was the worse time of day 12/1:00 or so. It was just when I thought I was gonna have a little free time to play.
