be hard to shoot of to the side sunset with the car's lights on

1: have the cars at the same angle so their lights are the same strength (the left hand side car is angled more)
2: edit the brightness out of the lights
3: take 2 photos one with lights on one with lights off to get the full color without washing it out and then edit the lights in later
4: not make it a mustang :P hehehe (had to have a stab)
5: get rid of the tire marks in the front of the pic, i dont know why, but i see them and they make me look down..

im not pro shooter though so this could all be rubbish!

I'd like to see the colours of the car more, and the headlights seem a bit overwhelming. I think that XpLoiT's idea of putting 2 shots together in this situation would make a lot of sense.

Personally, I like the tire marks in the front of the picture because it makes me think that the cars sped up there and turned around quickly in a cloud of dust.

Overall, I like the way the whole thing is put together, nicely composed

I agree, the headlights are a little too bright and are the first thing you look at in the shot. I don't think you want to make those the main subject in this pic. I suppose the tire marks are personal preference, I think you should take them out, but I really don't find them that distracting. The sunset lighting is very nice.

As a fellow Pony owner first thing I've got to get off my chest is to never take a picture next to rice. Now that that's done.

Crop out the Nissan and make your car the focal point is the only thing I could think of to improve the picture as is. Given the location, I'd suggest shooting with the sunset at your back. I'm guessing that your Mustang is black (mine is) and if it is, sunset reflecting off that surface is amazing. Otherwise I'd re-shoot without the headlights on.

Gunsotsu - ive done a similar crop to that and ive chopped out the sign in the back and the antenna.

i was trying to show off the lights in the pic but understand they are over powering... i will work on toning them down next photo shoot

KJMarino, all preceding replies led to this...

It can be done better; you know how the front should look. Some basic work with selecting, erasing a darker layer, saturate - all that and time and patience. Have fun!
