Hello Robin,

The arrangement of the kids on the road is nice and the girl in front is very attractive. I have spent some time sitting back and looking at the photograph, the last kid with the bicycle breaks the line. I think just the girl in front in the empty street looks the best. You have got the golden hour sunlight, looks nice.

Robin Sarac,

For anyone from a family with 3 or more siblings, this will bring particular appreciation for wordless illustration of life in the trickle-down lane. It's a slice-of-life shot, well done for this kind of honest look at group dynamics. As a former farm kid, I appreciate the title.

Those are my kids and they always seem to be arranged in that order...the 8 year old, the 6 year old, and the 4 year old.

Thanks for the comments!

Nice work! Who needs an expensive indoor video game when you have the great outdoors and a stick with which to dig in the dirt? 8-) Thanks for sharing this shot of your family with us.

Fascinating capture of family dynamics -- you'll obviously have some wonderful memories to share, and enjoy, when they're all grown.

That set me to thinking, though -- I wonder what this (or something similar) would look like if you shot it from a much lower perspective...?

I really like the way this tells a story. As mentioned, the light is great and evokes those long summer days of childhood. I like the way the curve of the road echos the curving line of kids.

That would have been a great idea...shooting from a lower perspective! Drat! I'll try to think of different perspectives next time. I'm so busy learning how to take pictures with my camera that I usually forget about things like different perspectives and angles.

My focus right now is to get to where using my camera is second nature...as in undetrstanding all the buttons and how to get it to do what I think I need to do. LOL!
