Hello,
2 things I need critiqued, first of course is the composition of the pic, and second is the (photoshopped) IR effect (thanks to Adalove for sharing a nice tutorial site). My eye is not trained for such effects and I need to know what needs to be improved. If you see other things that needs improved then feel free to tell me ![]() Here's the pic

Can you point me to the URL for the IR tutorial?
The photo is very well done. To give it a more antique feel you could have roughed it up a bit, but i LOVE the angle of the gun barrel in the photo. Only other comment is that I'd like to see more empty space to the left of the photo. I think the crop is too tight against the gun, sorta missing out on a stronger perception that something bad's about to shoot out. Thanks! Jake |

One thing I do find is my eye is drawn to the large white-ish area of background just below the middle of the canon barrel. I imagine this is a result of the IR photosphopping, perhaps try muting it a little? drop it to more of a middle gray?

Jake - PM'ed you.
Greer - Yep, got it, I think I cropped it a bit too tight :P I wouldnt know if its a good candidate or not, but now that you mentioned it, I'm reminded that its good for landscape and sometimes portrait shots... Redrabbit - Thanks ![]() ZackB- Yep, got it, I'll try and play around with the channel mixing and see what I can come up with. SexyNinjaMonkey- Haha :P
