Tired Squirrel

Caught this guy hanging out on my fence in the backyard.

Also my first time posting on this site - please let me know what you think.

How adorable! He sure does look tired I like how the lighting and shadows play into his whole sleepy-eyed look.

Nice capture. the lighting really worked out for you in this photo. Only thing I would do is crop out or clone out the screw holes in the bottom right corner.

How Sweet! Light and shadow are for you. And the tail, what a picture. I sincerely think that this is a once upon the time picture. About the screw holes, i think they have their place in the picture. they just add to the charm of everything.

I hate to disagree, but I would crop out the bottom of the fence and just leave the top where the squirrel is lying. I find that part ugly and distracting, plus, I think you'll get a nice close-up on his/her face (so sweet!).

Thanks for the feedback. I actually like the screw holes in the picture for some reason. I'll have to crop them out and see if it makes any difference to my eye.

The only thing I don't really like about the picture is towards the left bottom of the squirrel - there are two pine needles.
