Default Freshly watered

Took this shot this morning on the way to work, a few of my colleagues really like it but i think if it is missing something or has too much background clutter

any comments appreciated

Default Love those droplets

Gotta love the water droplets and the clean separation of those petals! But yes, I'd agree that the background is a bit hard on the eyes. I'd try to blur it (or artistically change it) so that the flower would stand out. The flower is also a bit too centered, did you crop it so? Have you tried making a copy and cropping it so the flower proper and some of those water droplets fill the frame as much as possible?

Great eye, and great steadyness!

Thanks Scampi,

I will try what you suggest when I get home this evening, as mush as I would like to spend time working on it now, its funny how bosses expect you to work in the office

This picture has got some great color and is great the way it is. Cropping in tighter might help with some of the distractions.

I love the flower and the water. But yes, the background is too cluttered.
