Default Burj al Arab

A pic of the Burj al Arab... its the tallest hotel in the world... and extremely luxurious.. just wish i could experience the luxury...

Anyways.. I wanted some comments on the pic.. Do you think that there is too much of the sky ?? Any other ways to improve the pic ?
Its taken with my P&S - Canon A710 IS .. I might go back and try and get another shot with moi DSLR..

nice picture, i like the coloring in it, but maybe the blue light from the small building gets your attention abit away from the hotel

I really like the pic, but i'd either brighten the color of the sky, either make it a monotone..

Yup getting the lightS (some below the hotel too) out would be good.

I love the pair that is sitting to the right of the picture. I won't recommend monchrome though, it will take away the beautiful colour of the sky.

Hi Dayle,

The sky with fading light is so beautiful, I guess you must have sorted out the distractions below by now. If this Dubai landmark needs to be shown as a towering monument, I would suggest keep it in a portrait frame. When the lights start glowing, you can try a tripod based timed exposure also.
