Here's another shot from last night. We have one certain bridge, where there's a custom, that newlyweds hang their locks on it. I tried to get a decent angle and lighting, and I'm quite happy with what came out. Though I'm always open for suggestions.)

I've heard of this custom before.. maybe in some TV program...
Ya i agree with Subrata comments.. i think a larger DOF would create a better impact..but the idea is good...

As someone about to get married, different marriage customs from around the world are intriguing to me!
![]() I like the way the locks are poking out from the plane of the bridge fence. Each lock has their own unique way of reflecting the same light. I feel that this bridge is filled with opportunities for many many shots. I agree with the others that a greater depth of field may give a nice overall balance. At the same time, if you find a certain lock that you want to use as the primary subject, you can open up the aperture to max and get closer (physically) to that specific lock and take a shot. Also, since each lock has its own luminance, this is a great candidate for B&W post processing. Thank you for sharing this cool photo!
